Highland Elementary Library celebrated the season with an “Under the Sea” theme — students checked out cozy break reads, enjoyed Mrs. Weir’s Monarch storytime featuring Sydney & Taylor Explore the Whole Wild World, and giggled through Mo Willems’ Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Sleigh! 🐦🎅 We even closed with singing + sign language to “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.” 🎶❤️

Literature classes are previewing the Fair and creating wish lists this week and early next — keep an eye out for your child’s list (a great gift idea!). Student in-person shopping: Friday, Dec. 5, and Monday–Thursday next week.

Pre-School Screening

Time: 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Nurse Makenzie visited kindergarten classrooms to encourage our students to "Say BOO to the Flu!" with proper handwashing! She used glitter to serve as the "germs" to show how soap repels germs with her Halloween-themed science experiment.
